Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPI)
AMPI was founded in 1976 with the objective of encouraging the application of physics in medicine. The Association collaborates with similar organizations in the world to arise the quality of medical physics in India. Currently it has an active membership of about 800, comprising of physicists, radiation oncologists, radiologists and engineers. In December 2016 IPEM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AMPI.
Association of Renal Technologies (ART)
The purpose of ART is to promote the field of work shared by technicians, technologists, engineers, scientists and other members of the multi-professional team working within the sphere of Renal Technology. The Association has over 200 members and are represented in many Renal Clinics throughout the United Kingdom. In February 2016 IPEM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ART
British Institute of Radiology (BIR)
The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) is a multidisciplinary membership organisation connecting all those with a professional interest in imaging science and radiation technology. In September 2018 IPEM renewed the Memorandum of Understanding with BIR
Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estates Management (IHEEM)
The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM) is the UK’s largest specialist Institute for the Healthcare Estates Sector; devoted to developing careers, provision of education and training, and registering engineers as Eng Tech, IEng and CEng. In October 2013 IPEM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IHEEM.
The National School of Healthcare Science is an important part of the new system for healthcare science training established through Modernising Scientific Careers. This new system was set up to ensure that patients benefit from the scientific and technical advances by ensuring that healthcare science staff have the knowledge and skills to put these advances into practice. In September 2018 IPEM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NSHSC.
Rehabilitation Engineering Services Management Group (RESMaG)
Promoting and supporting the Rehabilitation Engineering profession. ResMag is a voluntary group, formed to address and support healthcare science professionals working in Rehabilitation Engineering within the National Health Service in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. In June 2014 IPEM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with RESMaG.
Saudi Medical Physics Society (SMPS)
SMPS is established under the umbrella of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). SMPS is indeed fortunate to have capable members to stand for the fulfillment of its goals in promoting the growth of medical physics professionals within and outside Saudi Arabia. It is a promise that SMPS will offer excellent resources such as networking, continuing education, as well as collaboration with fellow health professionals to promote its mission. In March 2014 IPEM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SMPS.
