IPEM is participating in the Lottie Tour, which is organised by the Women's Engineering Society (celebrating their 100th anniversary this year!).
Lottie is a doll that travels around the country to visit women who take pictures of her at work and therefore promoting the amazing and varied careers available in engineering.
These photos can be used on social media and websites etc to showcase your work but they should also be shared during Tomorrow's Engineers week in November. Lottie could have a scan, repair a medical device, test a wheelchair, be a patient etc...
To read more about Lottie on Tour, including some ideas for blogs see the WES Lottie on Tour page. Apart from doing a great job promoting new areas of work for children it is also great fun to participate!
That's it! Below are a few examples of how Lottie has been used in the past to showcase different areas of work.
