Your chance to take part in the STP core curriculum review

THE National School of Healthcare Science is seeking views on the Scientist Training Programme core curriculum review.

The content of the new core STP curriculum was developed by Clinical Scientists and senior figures from the NHS, industry and universities.

A draft of the new curriculum has been produced and can be viewed here. The National School now wants to hear your views on the new content – does it uphold the standards of practice expected from a Clinical Scientist in the NHS and will a trainee completing the STP have the required key skills?

You can submit your views directly to the National School by clicking here and the deadline to submit is Sunday 31 January.

IPEM will also be submitting a response as a professional body to this, and if you want your views included in that, please send them to marked ‘STP curriculum review’ by no later than Friday 22 January in order for the responses to be compiled.
